The Quest to Reinvest Is proud to announce it’s 2012 Non-pr0fit winners. For the second straight year Exeter Events and Tents philanthropic arm runs the Quest to Re-invest program gifting grants to local New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine deserving non-profit charities.  This grant for goods and services allows these charities to utilize tents, tables, chairs, dance floors, stages and other special event merchandise that would otherwise cost thousands and thousands of dollars. Without these grants many organizations find it prohibitive to run community based outreach events like road races, pet walks, festivals and fundraisers of all kinds. Depriving groups of these very lucrative and rewarding types of events can now be overcome with a grant from Quest to Reinvest.

As each organization receives its 2012 grant we will feature them for you here. See the type of valuable non-profit services and causes right here in your backyard. Hopefully you will see the organizations you support or see one you want to support and get involved, attend the event and experience a great time and maybe meet some new neighbors.

4th Annual 5K Walk/Run for Anne-Marie House

September 18, 2011 1:00PM-5:00PM

ONLINE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

With homelessness in New Hampshire on the rise in recent years, walkers, runners and community members will come together on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Nashua to fundraise and find a solution to the growing problem. All proceeds from the event, the 4th Annual Anne-Marie House 5K Walk/Run, will benefit Anne-Marie House.

Pre-registration is $20 per person and $25 on the day of the event. (Entry fees are non-refundable.) Day-of registration begins at 1:00PM in the First Baptist Church parking lot at 121 Manchester Street in Nashua. Walkers will get a head start at 2:15PM and runners will depart at 3:00PM.

Event highlights include 2008 Beijing Olympic race-walker Joanne Dow, medals to top finishers in each age group, t-shirts for the first 200 participants, free post-race chowder courtesy of Weathervane Seafood Restaurant, live entertainment, and a special series of educational grants provided by a generous outside donor for participants walking on behalf of a school. The AMH 5K Walk/Run is a USATF certified course.

Participants can register online for the event. For more information, contact Jennifer Lorrain, AMH Director of Development, at (603) 883-7338, ext. 5 or jennifer.lorrain@annemariehouse.org.

FUNdraise!

Walkers and runners alike are encouraged to raise pledges to benefit Anne-Marie House. Raising pledges is easy! Use our handy-dandy pledge form to help raise donations. Here’s an example of how YOU can easily raise $150 in pledges for Anne-Marie House:

  1. Ask five family members to pledge $20 each ($100)
  2. Ask four friends to pledge $10 each ($40)
  3. Ask two co-workers to pledge $5 each ($10)
    TOTAL: $150!

BONUS! As an added incentive, participants raising $1,000 or more in pledges will receive a $1,000 grant to a school of their choice. This grant is made possible by a generous private donor whose grant making is limited to educational institutions.

Sponsorship

Receive exposure to 300+ event participants, volunteers and greater Nashua community members. Sponsorship levels start at as little as $250 and come with a multitude of marketing benefits and cross-marketing opportunities. In addition, your dollars directly support children and families in need — what could be better than that?! For more information and a detailed sponsorship proposal, please call Jennifer Lorrain, AMH Director of Development, at (603) 883-7338, ext. 5 or jennifer.lorrain@annemariehouse.org.
