We would also like to let our readers know about an event that is taking place on the 18^th in Portsmouth run by Arts in Reach a non-profit that provides mentoring through the arts to teenage girls in the Greater Seacoast of New Hampshire. AIR empowers teenage girls through innovative teaching and mentoring, utilizing accessible arts programming as the platform for success. AIR develops girls’ creative freedom and power of voice in a positive setting where teenage girls thrive.

We are excited to be involved with this event and hope that the 12’ x 20’ stage brings with it beautiful weather and perfect performances. This is another great way to enjoy an evening in Portsmouth that is free so come on out and support these performers

The final combined showcase of our three summer camps: ArtWorks, SongWorks, and TheatreWorks!

On August 18th, Summer AIRWorks participants will perform, sing, and exhibit their hard work and creativity in the streets!

After an introduction by the PMAC Jazz ensemble, SongWorks teens will reveal their individual songs and CD, and TheatreWorks teens will perform their original street-inspired theatre and dance show, all in front of the art and wall mural created by ArtWorks teens.

3S Artspace is also graciously pairing chef Sam Ostrow with Brookford Farm in Rollinsford to provide refreshments that evening. For this mini farm-to-table experience, Ostrow will create a tasting menu based around ingredients sourced from Brookford Farm.

Admission Free, open to the public, and donations are welcome!
