If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a viral photo of a groomsman kicking a bridesmaid while doing a mid-air split that also ripped his pants could fill a novel.

The photo was taken at a destination beach wedding in Jamaica that featured a beautiful bride, a gorgeous location and a groomsman who says he regretted his choice to jump in the air as soon as it happened.

“I was kind of thinking I wish I could just stay up here and fly away,” Tyler Foster, 28, told ABC News.

Foster, a resident of Spokane, Wash., was a groomsman in his cousin’s wedding when he says he decided to spice up the traditional wedding party photo shoot.

“I whacked the bridesmaid in the head and split my pants right at the peak of my jump,” he said.

The impact knocked the bridesmaid over but Foster says there were no hard feelings.

“She was laughing, I guess, after she picked herself up,” Foster said. “But she wasn’t hurt or anything.”

Foster posted the photo to Reddit last week and watched in amazement as it went viral, garnering more than 1,000 comments and counting.

“People started saying it was the worst wedding picture ever, you know, this guy ruined his cousin’s wedding,” Foster said of the comments. “They’re asking me, ‘Did the bridesmaid die?’”
