With just six weeks to go, it seems the list of questions we have about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s wedding is growing longer by the minute. Who will be Meghan’s maid of honor? Will the Spice Girls really perform at the reception? How many of Harry’s exes will be in attendance? And, perhaps most pressingly, what will Meghan’s dress look like? Though there’s a good chance we won’t find out the answers to any of those until May 19, that hasn’t stopped lovers of all things royal from speculating—and now, they’ve got a new, pretty believable theory about which designer Meghan has chosen to dress her on her big day.

According to a report from Diary Directory, Erdem, the British fashion brand headed by Canada-born Erdem Moralıoğlu, recently stopped outsourcing its public relations team, hiring a new in-house PR manager instead. As People notes, this “staffing up” could be Erdem’s way of preparing for the onslaught of attention they would undoubtedly receive if they were responsible for designing Meghan Markle’s wedding gown.

It’s not a far-fetched theory: Not only has Meghan worn Erdem designs several times before, but soon-to-be sister-in-law Kate Middleton is also a fan. Most recently, the Duchess of Cambridge wore two gorgeous Erdem gowns to nighttime events during her and husband Prince William’s royal tour of Scandinavia in January.

Other potential designers for the Suits actress’s gown include France-based Roland Mouret, who coyly told the New York Post in February that he loves to “work in collaboration” with Meghan; Israeli designer Inbal Dror, who confirmed to People in December that they had received a request for a sketch from Kensington Palace; and British line Ralph & Russo, who designed Meghan’s engagement photoshoot dress and were named by an anonymous source last month as the royal-to-be’s choice for her upcoming nuptials.

For her own lavish April 2011 ceremony, Kate sported a stunning long-sleeved, lacy gown designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen (who is also on the list of Meghan’s potential designers). The palace didn’t reveal the masterminds behind Kate’s dress until the day of the wedding—so, no matter who Meghan chooses to design her gown, it’s unlikely that she’ll spill the beans until she’s literally walking down the aisle in said gown.
