Exeter Events and Tents are proud to support Camp Allen in its 80th year of operation with a permanent donation of a 30’x60’ tent thought Exeter Event and Tent’s “Quest to Reinvest” philanthropic efforts. Camp Allen was founded in 1931 by Doctor Edward Allen at the Perkins School for the Blind as a camp for his women patients needing something to do during the summer.  Camp Allen welcomes about 600 campers each summer. They are persons of all ages with special needs and extraordinary challenges, including cerebral palsy, autism, muscular dystrophy, Down syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. In many cases, the week or two campers spend at Camp Allen is the only extended time during the year that they spend enjoying the outdoors. Mike Parkin commenting on the gift said, I was so impressed with the staff and mission at Camp Allen.  Wonderful, passionate people dedicating their lives helping our disabled enjoy the summer.  A New Hampshire summer camp we are so proud to support!”   Please take a moment to follow the links below you enjoy the wonderful learning about the wonderful programs offered by the amazing staff at Camp Allen.  You may even want to get involved!
